June/July 1st

SUMMER IS HERE it's official cuz all of us kidz are burnt  and or tanned.  YAAAA So Happy

Went to girls camp and had a lot of fun.  Met a lot of new girls and leaders.  The food was so good. Thanx mom ur a good cook. The only thing that sucked at camp was the bedbugs.  I got bit all over my legs and arms. Fun! Not.  We had to freeze everything in the freezer.  I could not take my scriptures to church today because Nephie was chiilin in the freezer. alone with Lamen and Lemuel.

Then went to Cardston to celebrate Canada day.  Went to the Raymond parade.  Got lots of candy. then went fishing at Payne lake.  IF you want to see pictures my Aunt has allot on her blog its the kaylenn one. at the top of this post.  Then went to the carnival and got COTTON CANDY!!! love that stuff.

4-H

Wow time flies by sorry for not writing it has just been so crazy lately!   School is almost over a week then freedom!!! YA!  So last week was 4-H.  Such a sad time :(   Gobby is gone my best animal friend is gone.   But the happy part is that he has gone to beautiful field with Boon and is sleeping under a tree eating sweet colorful flowers.  (My back ground shows the field he is staying in.) 
 when we first got there we weighed them in.  Gobby weighed 960 pounds.  Pretty tiny but he behaved very well. Unlike Boon who gave my mom a hard time when we went into weigh. 
I tied up Gooby  until it was his turn to get washed and cleaned up.  The newspaper got a pretty good picture of me washing up Gooby tail.  I had lots of enthusiastic expressions.  Gooby again was well behaved and enjoyed getting his picture taken as well. 
  Grandpa Buck came to help and watch me. After washing him we dried with a blow dryer and trimmed him all up.  We tied him back up and watched the other 4-H groups show their calves.  Then it was my turn we got pretty dressed up in red ribbon.  I had two braids in my hair with red ribbons on each end.  Then we tied a big fat red ribbon on Gobby's tail.   We were matching!!!!!!  Then we lined up to go in the show ring.  I had butterflies and wanted to run away  but i was brave and went into the show ring the show must go on lol.  When i got in the show ring i walked around the circle like a million time the they stopped us and i lined up Gooby in his position  He was so well behaved.  The Judges came around and felt Gobby's muscles. the judge said i looked cute in my ribbons.   They put me in last place.  I was thrilled so happy to get last place.  Everyone one wants to get last place right,? it was my desire the whole  year i trained Gobby NOT!!  So when i got out of the ring i handed my my steer and ran and ran and ran until i cried.  Last place was so much fun.  After i calmed my self down from the excitement of getting last place i returned and watch the other clubs show their steers. After the show went home and relaxed...........................

Day 2 the sad day................
When we got to the Arena i fed and watered Gooby and got him all brushed out.  Then we went to go watch the sheep show and sale.  Before the sale there was a grooming competition and the groups were mixed up with different 4-H groups.  Our group choose to use Gobby as our calf.   Gooby was so well behaved.  we had 12 minutes to get Gobby sparkling clean.  Guess what out team WON!!!!!  YAAA Gobby was so happy and same with my group.  We got a big treat basket for getting first place.  I got first place go me oh ya uh.  Then after the grooming competition it was the sale dundunduun.   As we lined up to go in the ring that's when i started leaking and i could not stop.   I cried and cried and cried and  Brayden told me i was fine i cant believe he did not cried and i cried and i cried thy were about to take away my best animal friend away.  Me and Gobby were pretty close the last year.  When i got into the ring i tried to stop myself from crying but i could not.  Gooby was crying to.   Grandpa Torrie bought my calf.  THANK YOU. 
When i got out other ring they lead me to gate so i could get my recite then they lead me outside to a pin where other calves were they told me to take off his halter and go.  As i was taking it of Gobby licked me and tried to follow me but i ran biting my show stick so i would not make loud noises.  My best friend was gone.   But he is in a field with Boon eating flowers and sweet grass and will not die until he is super old.  Yep that is how it goes.  It was a good learning experience.  And i am totally doing it next year but no other calf will be like Gooby.  Love ya Gooby!!

OH THE JOY OF BEING SICK!!!

How many times can each of us kids get strep?
 Well all of us have proved about  you can get it at least 5 times since January.
 Well at least that is how many times I have had it. I went to the clinic today to get my throat swabbed.
 Pretty sure it will come back as Positive just like the other 4 times.
  Our family just needs a pass when we go to the clinic or the hospital, just show them our pass saying were here again it the Lees. 
General Conference was on Saturday and Sunday. I was glad to get my spiritual cup full again. It is great that they are building a temple in Rome, Italy.  They are building a temple square kinda over there.  I love temples!!!  On Sunday us kids and dad look on line at temples and what temples we wanted to get married in and what temple pictures we wanted in our room. April...snow brings May, frozen toes!!!!!

OK, so it is almost April and there is still Snow on the ground!!!!!!  Does anyone know the weather man's phone number??? We will be having a long chat! 
Mom is really anxious for Easter to come.  She is sewing Easter dresses for the cousins and us like there is no tomorrow.  Hanna's and Julia's are really cute and they are the same.   Jill's and Lucy's are the same.  My mom made me a really cute dress.  When i got home it did not exactly fit so she gets to have my dress!!! I am really picky about the clothes i wear, and when i saw this material in the material store i fell in love with it.  It's brown and has white pokodots.  It is so cute!!!
Annie-Jo has got it in her head that her name is Gorges.  Every time we ask her what her name is she replies  "MY name is Gorgas"  We love Annie-JO.
So last week i studied and studies for my drivers test.   Getting all the way to question 20 is where i failed.  I got next week to do it. LOL.

What A Crazy Month!!!!

Wow what a crazy month.  February has gone by so fast and March is almost over.  Here is a list of some crazy and sad events. 
1) On Feb. 11 we went to go watch Jill's basket ball tournament in Bow Island.  Her team won all the games.  They did an awesome job. 
2) On Feb. 12 we went to go watch the tournament at 11:00am.  After the game we thought we would go get something to eat.  So we went to a Chines restaurant and we all ordered cheese burgers, fries and root beer.  Jill's team decided to go bowling so us Lee's decided to go back home and do some yard work.  While we drove home we decided to go feed Gooby while we were on the road.  So we pull up to the barn to feed.  I get out of the van and walk to the barn like everything is fine and normal.  When  I enter the barn i had a  feeling that something was wrong.  A huge hay bail was in the way so i could not see the steers or the calves.  I first looked at the pen were the steers are.  I only saw the two brown steers. Where was Gooby.  I looked over to where the calves were and Gooby was with them. Gooby had to of jumped over the piece of wood that was separating them.  Then i could hear water splashing.  I looked over at the water trough and one of the calves had jumped into it.  Its head was twisted and hung out of the medal fence. I started to panic. I tried to lift it from the water trough  but it was way to heavy.  I flew to the house and knocked. No one came to the door so i ran back to the barn to see if i could try to lift the calf again.  Running back and forth with tears running down my face sure made mom worried. Mom came running to the barn asking what was wrong.  I tried to talk but i was in so much shock i just showed her.  Mom started to panic as well. We both tried to lift the calf out but it was way to heavy.  There was nothing neither of us could do.   So i ran to the house again and pounded on the door. Again no one came so I ran in the house and tried to find Tonya.  Sorry Tonya i still feel bad for running into your house.  Anyway I found Tonya in the laundry room. I tried to talk to her but i could only mumble words.  She yelled for Ryan to go to the barn.  I ran back to the barn and found mom scooping water out of the trough.  Ryan came and lifted the baby calf out of the trough.  This poor little calf was full of water and it kept on kicking it legs. I was a mess. I was covered in water, mud and poop, plus i was crying. Tonya and I got straw and put it around the baby calf, trying to keep it warm.  We kept moving it legs so we could get the blood pumping. Brayden found blankets so put that on the calf and heaters. While trying to keep the little calf warm we decided to give it a name.  We all agreed that his name should be Fighter. Tonya and I had a good talk about the atonment and animals.  It was Brayden's  birthday and so his Relatives would be there soon and would know what to do.  Soon Brayden's grandpa came and took care of the calf. We gave the calf a shot and pit a garden house down the calf's throat so it would be easier to burp.  Tonya told me to go inside and take a shower.  After getting washed up I thought i would go back to the barn and go see how the calf was. When i got there Fighter took his last breath.  (bad time to walk in) I cried. Ryan and Brayden's uncles took the baby calf outside to the burning pit.  We all went back inside the house to celbrate Brayden's birthday.  I am really sensivte towards animals.  So that was a hard day for all of us.   I am so thankful for the atounment and good friends. 
3) Mom has started a exersise group called Zumba.  She knows how to do some pretty funky moves ( : 
4) On Family week we had the Nunn cousins come over for the week beacuse Ausyn and Kaylenn were in Arizona.  While the cousins were here we sewed pillow cases, skirts, dresses and capes.  We practiced plays and Kidz Zone, Went swimming, stayed up late and ate junk food. 
5)On March 4 the Tber community Youth Choir sang at the Adult Stake Dinner and Dance.  We preformed the medoly for the sound of music.  We sang high in a hill, favorit things, Edile Weise, so long farwell, Sound of music.  We did actions.  Our guest was Brooklyn Torrie. We did a fantasic job.  Chealse Jensen did our hair.  we looked pretty awsome!! Afterwards they had a live band come so we decided to danc ewith the adults.  I had a lot of fun.
6) On Saurday i had distric speak offs.  I got first place so i get to go to Reginals.  That takes place in The Lethbridge College. I am really exicted. 
7) This Thursay Match 17 i have a piano competion in cardston.  I play 2 songs.  The Jig and sweet sorrow.  Whish me luck. LOL
8) On the 18 will be the stake dance.
9) I have speak offs on the 19 in Lethbridge.
10) I will be doing the moonlight run.
That has been Feb. and March!!!

One crazy week of weather

I have come up with a silly nick name for Annie-Jo She is a blue berry poop. (Behind the scenes)
One day, I think it was on Monday I got really mad at Annie-Jo for sticking her tongue out at me. So I called her Strawberry poop. Then she got mad saying "my name is not strawberry poop it is Annie-Jo". So I said fine be that way blue berry poop". So she goes "no my name is not blue berry poop your strawberry poop" So now my name is strawberry poop and her's is blueberry poop.

Ever been on  roller coaster well that is what it has been like here as far as weather goes this past week. The week started off with lots of snow on the ground and a bit windy. It chinooked. The snow went away. By Wednesday and Thursday we were just wearing light jackets and rubber boots so we wouldn't get our feet wet. Friday the ice in our drive was almost all gone. Today we have 11/2 feet of snow and it is -21 C. Mom was getting spring fever and order all of her seeds for the garden. The snow makes her sad.

Funny sayings and things that the Lee kidos have done this week.
1. Kaden during our evening family prayers Kaden prayed that he would have fun at his friends house the next day and gave the exact time at which he wanted to have fun - 10:00am.
2. Mom was watching 2 little boys while we were at school. Mom was watching a 9 month old baby, so that meant that we had to have the house really, really clean and everything was picked up off the floor. She set up the play pen in the music room for his nap time. The baby was very klingy and didn't want to get down to play with the other kids. Finally when he got tired mom put him down in the play pen for his nap. Annie-JO seeing that Mom was free plopped herself into mom's lap saying " I'm the baby". That night after family prayer Annie-Jo announced that she was the baby and she was going to sleep in the Cage (playpen). Annie-Jo we love you.
3. Carter and Annie-Jo didn't get the memo that it is winter. Every morning they come down dressed in shorts and t-shirts.
4. On Saturday we received a call from Grandma asking how much we loved her. Of course we told her we love her lots. So she got straight to it. Grandpa had accidentlly thrown out all of our snowpants we had left behind the week before. Lesson learned do not pack using a black garbage bag. We will laugh about this in 20 years. We love you Grandma and Grandpa.

Yesterday, Grandpa came over to Taber and helped me work with my 4-H steer, Gooby. He gave me some really good tips and I'm sure glad I have such a great grandpa. I have red halter and a red belt and a red brush. I will be the most fashionable girl in the ring.

First Dance

OH MY GOODNESS I HAD SO MUCH FUN LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! so at seven pm i went to Prairie's house to get ready. While doing our hair we listened to Glee.  I was so nervous i had butterflies but they were not going in one direction but bumping into each other boom, boom, boom.  When ever I get nervous my ears turn red and cheeks.  Did not need blush. When we finished getting ready my dad insisted that we stop at the house so he could take pictures of me going to my first dance.  My dad turned on Dancing Queen while he took pictures.  By the time my dad finished taking pictures i felt like I was going to be sick i was so nervous but Prairie told me to stay cool which i tried to. It was 8:50pm when we got to the church and it is totally not cool to be early we had to be one minute late so we went to the slowest gas station in town and picked up water and gum. When we drove by the church it was 8:55 so we drove around the block.  The roads were really slick and i was freaking out cuz i was so nervous but to sike me out more Prairie's dad  spun us around on the road and in the Church's parking lot. I was totally not feeling good. When we looked at the clock it was 9:01 perfect timing. I did not want to get out of the car but i did.  When we went onto the church no one was there but the dance committee and the leaders.  Prairie and I hung out in the Relief society room till more people showed up. I wore a cowgirl hat with a crown and Prairie wore a crazy green and black hat. We looked pretty awesome.  Soon people started showing up so i gave the leaders my dance card and headed into the gym still having butterflies. Saw one of my friends, Caleb.  We talked for awhile then the party started.  We had a couple of fast songs and then a slow song came i was slowly creeping out of the gym when Quinn  Francis asked if i wanted to dance.  After dancing with him the butterflies flew away.  I was having the time of my life.  I danced with Benjamin Torrie. We talked about hats.  He had a pretty cool hat. Egyptian.  Then i danced with a guy in grade 12.  UH i hate being short. Then i danced with Benson Clark.  HE is a walking sky scraper.  There were allot of fast songs. I had lots and lots and lots and lots of fun.  Towards the end I danced with one more person named Brett.  We went ice fishing together last year with our families.  Now i am counting down the days until the next stake dance.  I Hope everyone else at the dance had fun.

The Lee House

Wow allot has happened this week.  On Sunday I received my medallion and certificate for finishing my personal progress.  It is so pretty.  My goal is to do it 3 times. I have already started  my second one.  I am helping four Young women complete their personal progress.  We are competing with one another because who ever finishes last owes everyone else a blizzard from dairy Queen so we are working like bees to finish.  Our goal is to finish by the end of the summer. I am also reading the Book Of Mormon again and I am hoping to get my honor bee. Tuesday was "Invite elven year old night" and we learned how to do and take care of our nails. I painted my nails white with black stripes, ZEBRA.  I am not really a big fan for painting my nails or doing girly things.  I had a huge exam today in social.  Pretty easy but took me two hours to finish. So grateful for my grade five teacher because he was not scared to say what he believed in and who he was, for that i am grateful because i am now i can state what i believe in without fear. On my test today i was asked what i believed and I was able to state my beliefs. 
I AM SO EXITED FOR TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE DANCE MY FIRST DANCE BUT YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO!!!!?????
OK well the theme is crazy hat dance.  I am going to wear a cowboy hat with a crown  they said it can be cute to so i will wear that. But the seminary teacher, Brother Scott told the young men to dance with me except for one guy but i wont get into that.  But promise I will tell everyone what happens at nine o'clock pm.  I am so exited but really nervous!!!!

Walkin in a Winter Wonder land?

M ore like walking in a January Blizzard! Boy it is not nice out at all. Church was canceled this morning because of the weather. So we had our own little church meeting.  Dad, during breakfast announced we would be having church meeting at eleven o'clock. So us kids thought we would be a little creative. We went to our dress up box down stairs and dressed up as pioneers. We came up stairs pushing doll carts and riding stick horses.  we got some pretty good snapshots of us all dressed up.  Maybe when i figure out how to put pics up you will all be able to see them but for now us your imaginations. 
Anyway, Talyor and Julia gave a talk.  dad conducted our meeting and told us the plans for the week.  Annie-Jo was the music conductor and i played piano. Kaden and Carter just sat and smiled. After our little meeting my mom taught Sunday school.  Mom first asked us this question, When the second coming comes who would you like to meet from the New Testament we all said except for Carter said Jesus Christ.  Carter announced he would like to meet chickens.  I guess he could meet some chickens.  
Mom taught us about John the Baptist and his parents.  Then dad told us after the lesson about Johns head.  It was great.  Right now i am hoping for no school.  But i can see the sun peeking in so i guess we will see what happens for now.        

Time Flys By When having Fun

So our Christmas holiday went a little like this. Julia and I played a part in the Grassy Lake pageant. I played an Angel and my sister was a stable boy who took care of 2 donkeys, 2 lamas, and a sheep. On Christmas eve our grandparents came over and the kids and I stayed up until 4:00am. Christmas morning we went into the living room and saw what Santa brought us. I got a camera and I get to go to the store and pick a bedspread of my choice. Julia also got a camera,carpet, and Santa brought her a purple bedspread. Taylor received a alarm clock and a fish filters. Kaden  got a loud gun. Carter got a Woody doll and Annie-Jo got a Jessie doll.  The rest of the day we chilled out.  On Monday we wen to go see Tangled in Cardston.  It is so funny!  I love Walt Disney Movies! Then I stayed in Levitt with Grandma and Grandpa and helped out. On Tues we went to Saskatchewan  to a ranch and spent some time with some people we knew.  The weather was not nice we had a blizzard that night and the next day.  It was not fun driving in it. Then New Years Eve had a party and New Years day went Xtream Sledding off a 50 foot cliff.  Good thing no one got hurt.  Well think that's it!  

Happy 2011

Hello to all. The New Years Party at Grandma's was totally wicked!!! Surprisingly everyone stayed up until midnight, except for Julia, who got bucked off a horse and hurt her wrist and thighs. We had a family dance with Austin as the DJ. Grandpa pulled some pretty wild moves as the dancer!! I am a total blonde who doesn't get Austin's games. I will say no more about that. We watched Toy Story 3 and had a count down until midnight. Today we went Xtreme Sledding with all the males who are old except Grandpa. That is all for now!!
